The Vari is the most playful of all Hygee’s designs and comes in a range of striking colored watch faces and bands. With its unique square design, the watch is quite attractive and is a perfect example of minimalist jewellery. Weighing just 25g, the case itself is made from aluminium and features a geometric curved mineral glass that just bleeds seamlessly into the frame. This is complimented by a premium leather watch strap and comes complete with 3ATM water resistance.
After wearing the Vari exclusively this past month, there is a lot to like about this watch. We received many compliments on the design motif as it is unusual to see a squared watch face unless you own an Apple watch. The watch and band are also extremely comfortable and lightweight and the watch pairs well with more formal attire. We do wish the watch face was a little larger and is on the small side, but we absolutely love its minimalist design and it is refreshing that it JUST tells the time and nothing else. Maybe there is something to this ‘simpler’ life?
