As fall starts to bring in the colder temperatures, it’s time to stow away those cargo shorts, take the flip flops off your feet and begin to dress ourselves functionally. Western Rise, want to protect you from the elements with their blend of apparel that is both functional, stylish and appropriate for a wide range of social settings.
Built for active individuals, their line of clothing is simple, well designed and innovative, using only premium fabrics to produce clothes that fit and function well and this could not be truer than with their Alloy Chinos and their Airlight Western Shirt.
Their Alloy Chinos are quite the chameleon when it comes to pants because they are perfect for the outdoors or the office. Made from high-grade nylon, that looks and feels like cotton, the pants have exceptional softness and ‘stretchiness’ made only better by the articulated knees and knee-length crotch gusset that makes them quite versatile. This is thanks in part to the structured drape of the fabric and highly spun Nylon Supplex fibers in the pants themselves. The relaxed cut, too, makes these very comfortable and the welcome addition of reinforced seams, a clean cut and a hidden zippered pocket mean these are a great all-season pant.

The Airlight Western Shirt, we are finding hard to take off! With a classic button down cut, the polyester and air-texturized nylon construction make this very breathable and soft. When wearing this shirt, you feel confident, no matter what the environment throws at you and this is especially the case with the inclusion of Nano-scale C6 DWR that means dust and water will just fall off you. One thing we really appreciate about the Western Shirt is the articulated armholes and mechanical weft stretch which offer a lot of movability and freedom whether you are wearing this to go hiking or just with a nice pair of jeans. You simply never feel restricted or uncomfortable in the fit. If you are still not sold, then keep this in mind, a lot of Western Rise Products are also bluesign® certified, meaning they are a part of the solution for sustainable textile production. The system eliminates harmful substances right from the beginning of the manufacturing process and sets and controls standards for an environmentally friendly and safe production.
Western Rise’s apparel is unique in the marketplace because they want to offer their consumers a quality product in a throw-a-way society that is not only made well but is done so with sustainable eco practices and for that reason they are our Product of the Month for October.
