Day 7 of our Holiday Gift Guide

Roborock S7 Automatic Vacuum and Floor Mop

Unveiled for the first time at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) the Roborock S7 is an advanced robot vacuum that features one of the fastest sonic2 mops on the market with an intelligent automatic lift for a powerful, seamless cleaning experience. Designed to transition smoothly over various surfaces, the s7 simplifies the robotic vacuum and mop experience to deliver a more effective cleaning session without interruption.

As the spiritual successor to the S6 max, the S7 features an upgraded and more powerful suction motor (2500PA) plus an all-rubber main brush (to resist hair tangles). However, the biggest new feature is their new and improved “sonic scrubbing” mop built into the device which vibrates the mop pad at up to 3,000 cycles per minute, meaning it can tackle surface dirt with ease and even break up the toughest, dried-on messes – leaving floors cleaner than ever.

Originally, we thought the idea of a vacuum and mop built into one machine was a recipe for some soggy carpets but boy oh boy were we wrong, the S7 auto-detects carpet and lifts the mopping pad to 5mm so that it can both mop and vacuum at the same time. It even will intensify the suction power when navigating over the carpet to get deep into the pile, which we love, and it works incredibly well.

Lastly, the mop pad and vacuum filter are both permanent and washable and the versatile Roborock app comes with handy reminders when the machine needs cleaning. The cherry on top being the ability to schedule cleaning and even block areas you do not want the S7 to go.
