Off Topic Board Game
Christmas means getting together with family and celebrating the season with family from far and wide and what better way is there to do that than with a card game that is going to have you in fits of laughter and coming back for more!
Off Topic, is a card game for ages 13 and up and can be played with 2 or more people, it is comprised of a series of cards with random questions about everything and anything that players must answer before the dedicated timer runs out. The result is a series of hilarious and hopefully quick-witted responses that as the name would imply are a little off!
However, this isn’t as easy as it seems, every answer you write down must start with the letter dictated by the alphabetized 20-sided dice you roll. For example, if you roll the letter S, you must answer “Words to describe your Grandma” with that very same letter. What makes the game so versatile and fun is that there are endless combinations of answers you can come up with as each time the responses you give must begin with a different letter.
We love that in the box as standard are the sand timer, game cards, dice and they have even included whiteboards and dry erase markers to record your answers, so no added extras are needed.
It has been a long time since a board game has people turn off Netflix or stray away from their smartphones but this one is so much fun, you’d be truly missing out if you didn’t play along. So, give your eyes a rest, get that brain going and maybe you might even have a laugh along the way. Merry Christmas!
