Place your bottle, can, or even a growler up to 64 ounces into the canister, and put the hose hanging from the lid into the opening of your beer.
Incredibly unlike their competitors, the Draftpour system does not require CO2 cartridges or nitrogen (N2) to create that unique Nitro-style draft flavor and taste. Instead, it works by pressurizing the canister after you place your beer inside the machine, and then using sound it agitates the carbonation in the remaining beer in the bottle. This “sonication process,” converts the beer’s natural carbonation into an ideal Micro-Foam. These uniformed, tiny-sized bubbles create the perfect density that delivers an enhanced aroma, flavor, and mouthfeel that is seriously impressive.
After extensive “testing” of IPAs, Pilsners, Brown Ales, Stouts, Porters, Lagers, and more, the Fizzics Draftpour system has continued to impress us in a few ways. It is not perfect though, and in some of our blind taste testing, some beers that were more hoppy and bitter did not translate to a better overall drink but these were few and far between, more often than not the Draftpour system seamlessly improved the overall experience.
