We were given the opportunity to try their High Performance and Collagen Glow Coffee blends.
Let’s start with their original High-Performance coffee. We are always skeptical when a coffee company claims their coffee enhances performance, but we were pleasantly surprised by this blend. Each single sachet is mixed with about 250ml of hot water. This particular blend is not only 100% natural, gluten free and vegan but also Paleo friendly and includes ingredients like MCT powder which is known to help metabolize fats; Turmeric, best known for its anti-inflammatory properties and positive effects on metabolism and wellbeing and Siberian Ginseng, the ultimate adaptogen, that helps your body regulate Cortisol (Stress hormone) to name a few.
We were surprised at just how tasty the High-performance blend was, seriously it is good. It was bold, spicy but not acidic and did not leave any bad aftertaste in our mouths. In fact, it was so good, some of us even decided to drink it black so not to dilute the taste. As to its health claims, we have drunk it everyday for nearly a month and we will say it does provide a significant energy boost that is longer lasting than our average cup and some of our team even said it helped them feel more relaxed in times of stress, so the jury is out on the rest.
Their Glow Collagen original blend is a different beast and is infused with marine Collagen plus Silica, MCT’s, Camu Camu, Biotin, Proline, Lysine, Vitamin B6 and naturally sweetened with Stevia. This concoction promises to improve skin elasticity, strengthen nails and even promote thicker healthier hair. We will admit, we were not as big a fan of the flavor on this one, particularly that stevia nonsense, but the ladies in our office have been raving about their hair and nails like this was the best thing since sliced bread, so perhaps there is some validity to this coffee’s claims.
